How Clubs Work

How do these front yard Bible clubs work?

What is a Power Up Club?

A Power Up Club is an alternative to a Vacation Bible School … yet VERY DIFFERENT!  A Power Up Club happens OUTSIDE in a neighborhood front yard. …  No decorating, no crafts, no forms … just a casual, fun time enjoying new friendships while sharing the Gospel and the love of Christ.

A Club in Action

Watch this video to get a sneak peek at the types of fun that happen during a Power Up Club!  The time includes skits, games, teaching, snacks, and stories.

A Host Home

A Host Home is a family from your church who volunteers to host a Power Up Club in their front yard. Hosts are asked to pass out invitations in their neighborhood and provide a few supplies.  The most important responsibility of a Host Home is to INVITE neighbors and friends.  The Power Up Teams will do the rest!

Student Ministry in Power Up Club

Students who have been a part of Power Up Clubs are overwhelmingly committed to serving and building their summer plans around their church’s Power Up schedule.  Students have served year after year, each year growing their skills and responsibility level. The discipleship opportunities are heightened, as students are trained and challenged while they are able to put these skills into action.

Power Up Clubs are super high-energy fun and games … mixed with some great conversation and times of sharing.  So who has more energy than kids?  Power Up Clubs pulls in teens in Student Ministry for this very important role!

Students are exposed to an intensive Boot Camp Training and are challenged to step up in their faith. They fun and the Clubs and are awesome!

Power Up Clubs have proved to have a very powerful impact on the Students serving.  While they are being trained and discipled, they have real-time opportunity to practice what they are learning.  They are challenged to work as a team toward one purpose and to depend on God.  Our Power Up Students “save their summer” to be a part of Power Up Clubs!

Of course, students also love to serve at Power Up Clubs because it is FUN!  Students spend the week together – working, planning, learning, worshiping … and enjoying time with each other.
